Oh my, I hesitate to write. I'll hurry for I must be brief and direct. I fear the worst. That Pimm woman is now in cahoots with that goon they call a doctor here and there's no telling what they're going to do to me. They're coming to take me back to my room for the evening and do their utmost to drug me senseless. Damm their eyes! I've never been so hurt in my life. With all that flying and whizzing back and forth from one side of America to the other you must be good at traveling. Surly you could come and hold your old auntie's hand for a few days?
I shall pass this letter to that nice young man who takes me for my walk on Sundays and pray that it reaches you. Say hello to Alan for me. Such a nice young man. Is it too late for you to settle down and start making babies? I knit just the most wonderful booties you know. Oh yes dear, if you do make it, don't forget the Duty Free.

Bill,
I have recently been informed of a family situation that needs urgent attention. Both you and I are still burned out from State vs. Coles, and I have some personal time saved up. Would you object if I took a leave of absence for a few weeks? My elderly aunt in Bermuda had a turn for the worse and the family has asked if I would help out until better arrangements can be made. My partners here have agreed that I can have the time, if you are agreeable.

Sarah,
Not much is on the docket here until the competency hearings that Justice
Taylor set down for February 3rd. You worked hard with us on the Coles
case and your input really helped clinch the
conviction.
Looking forward to working with you again. Could you let us know
of your tentative return date
in time to schedule some research on the Taylor case?
Take your leave with our blessing. Best wishes to your aunt.
Hope she's well.

Dear Aunt Alice,
Sorry that I missed being home for Thanksgiving. Alan and I stayed here and relaxed on our own. We were both burned out.
Anyway, you'll be really pleased to hear my news! I've taken a leave from FM&T to go check out Aunt Kate. Alan's all excited and is coming down to visit for a weekend or two, maybe over Christmas.
I picked up my frequent flyer ticket to Bermuda today, so there's no turning back! I'll be flying through Atlanta. The airline had me overnighting there, but I thought I might turn it in to a weekend. Could you have Dave come in to the airport to pick me up? I know it's a trip, but I'd really like to spend the weekend at the old place to catch up on family news for Kate! How is she related to us anyway?
I got the most pathetic and sad little note from her. It was all crumpled up and looked like one of those little credit card receipts that falls out of Alan's pocket for some lunch he bought for the boys back in July. Is she really all right?
Well! I'll watch for Dave at the gate. He was so cute when I was a teenager.
He'll pick me out
- they say I haven't changed too much in the last twenty years.
Must run!
See you next week,
Cousin Sarah

KC, have you heard from Kate lately? I'm taking a few weeks
off work and thought I would go
down to see her. You know how to get to Flyspec Island?
I got a really weird note from her the other day and want to
check it out. What a great excuse
for a break!
You seen Dave since Mary died? He was really cute when I was a
teen and he was like this 10
year old kid with hands from Rome. ;-)

Hey Sarah! How you been! You know, Kate has been a little weirder than usual. Was in the chat room at cousincouples.com a couple of times, late at night - musta been really late in her time zone. Got a weird letter from some doctor about her saying she wasn't doing well. Its probably her stories of loves past that gets the whole institution stirred up. You know when she starts telling her stories, many of the old folks there must be heavily medicated for months at the time.
If they are mistreating my old auntie, you let me know. And I'll come down there!
She's fooled them before, she is probably ok. Long as she isn't on the sauce again, you know it runs in the family. Give her a hug from me!
So, you and Alan still not married? Fifteen years is a long wait! Too long if you ask me; does he still act so prissy? I do not know why you are not attracted to real men.
Where's his head?
KC

Hello KC,
I just wanted to let you know that I have made it in ok and that Aunt
Kate is doing as well as to be expected. I feel
that if the doctors would just leave her alone she would do much better
but I have tried to argue and got no where
fast, however I will not give up until I am satisfied with the care
I feel she deserves.
She told me to tell you hello and is hoping to be up and about as soon
as the doctors leave her alone long enough.
She also asked me if I could step in and reply to some of the letters
that she receives there at cc.com. I told her I
would love too. I am glad to help out anyway I can for the site because
I do know how very much it means to her
and you both.
If I can be of any more help KC, please do not hesitate to let me know.
You have the number over here at Idlewilde
Acres and I did bring my lap top with me.
All the best to the family,
With My Regards,
Cousin Sarah
